History of Sullivan Tutoring
In 1996, Scott Sullivan founded Sullivan Tutoring with a belief that effective test preparation depends upon personalized strategies and care. Inspired by his father and mother, F. Russell Sullivan PhD and Judith Sullivan, and the Sullivan Educational Institute, Scott is proud to continue a family tradition of expert private tutoring on Boston's North Shore that has lasted for more than 40 years. Through his tutoring of the math portions of the SAT, SAT II, ACT, SSAT, ISEE, GRE and GMAT, along with classroom math, Scott has helped thousands of students improve their math skills, confidence and standardized test scores. Scott is indebted to his wife Michelle, Director of English from 1996 to 2005, for implementing many of Sullivan's key verbal strategies and for helping countless students improve their verbal standardized test scores. Kathryn Marquis Azevedo joined Sullivan Tutoring as Director of English in 2006, and has since enjoyed great success helping students improve their English standardized test scores and overall reading and writing skills.
